Be Not Afraid

I had a great conversation with Brian Allain from Compassionate Christianity, who is doing a series called “Faith, Hope, and Love During an Election".

In this interview I get to talk about my highest priorities for helping Christians deal with the divisiveness associated with this upcoming election.

When voters sit at the kitchen table to fill out their ballot, and walk into a voting booth, they will face a choice between believing in hope or being crippled with fear. For Christians, we should remember when we vote that the injunctions “Be Not Afraid” and “Fear Not” appear over 100 times in the Bible. Our faith should keep us from being imprisoned by our fears, or being manipulated by those using fear as a political weapon.
