Without Oars draws on Wes’ experiences of pilgrimage, including his journey along the Camino de Santiago in Spain, a massive all-night festival with 100,000 Christians in Nigeria, and his own moving journey to Lourdes, France, among other places. Many of the experiences in these photos are referenced in the book.
